From the moment I arrived at the Holiday Inn Virginia Beach - Norfolk, An IHG Hotel, I was impressed by the modern facilities and attentive staff. the soaring atrium lobby with a beautiful stone fireplace and waterfall created a unique ambience that set the tone for a relaxing stay. One of the highlights of my visit was the state-of-the-art fitness center, perfect for keeping up with my marathon training while on the road. the hotel also offered free shuttle service to and from Norfolk International Airport, making travel a breeze. Although I encountered some minor inconveniences, such as nearby construction causing uneven roads and late-night disturbances from construction workers, the overall experience was positive. the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my needs, allowing my girls to enjoy the pool a bit longer before check-out. The on-site restaurant, Ashley's Bistro and Lounge, offered delicious food and a welcoming atmosphere. the free children's option was a nice touch, adding to the family-friendly vibe of the hotel. Its convenient location near the beach and local attractions, coupled with top-notch amenities, make it a great choice for both business and leisure travelers.
